How to add Tamper Detection Devices to Platform?

1. From your Tamper Detection platform dashboard, navigate to the side controller(navigation bar).

2. Under the Devices Tab click "Add Device" and wait for the input form to load.

3. Select the Organization, Division & Sub-Division to assign the device to then click "NEXT".

• Organization: e.g. Company or Department created to by the Channel Partner
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage Divisions & Sub-Divisions within it.
• Division: e.g. Region created by the Channel Partner
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage Sub-Divisions
• Sub-Division: e.g. Sub-Region created by either Channel Partner or Manager
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage devices assigned to it.
(This is where your devices will be located)

There are six device types for the Tamper device
Tamper MOVE
Tamper PIR
Tamper MAG
Tamper 3-Input UPS
Tamper 3-Input
Tamper TILT

5. Enter the device data required for the specific device type selected.

6. Enter the Device Name and the Device ID accordingly.

7. Click "ADD DEVICE" once the button appears to save the device.

Duplicate Device IDs.

How to add Asset Track Devices to Platform?

1. From your Asset Track platform dashboard, navigate to the side controller(navigation bar).

2. Under Devices Tab click "Add Device" and wait for the input form to load.

3. Select the Organization, Division & Sub-Division to assign the device to.

• Organization: e.g. Company or Department created to by the Channel Partner
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage Divisions & Sub-Divisions within it.
• Division: e.g. Region created by the Channel Partner
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage Sub-Divisions
• Sub-Division: e.g. Sub-Region created by either Channel Partner or Manager
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage devices assigned to it.
(This is where your devices will be located)

4. Enter the device ID and name accordingly and click "Save" once the button appears to save the device.

If there is incorrect input data the "Save" button will not appear.
The device ID will be a 6 digit Alphanumerical value.

Common mistakes:

Duplicate Device IDs.

How to add Smart Sensor Devices to Platform?

4. Select the Device Manufacturer
Device Manufacturer: The device manufacturer (VisioSoft or SENSECOM) to which the device belongs to
Upon selecting a Device Manufacturer, device types for the specified Device Manufacturer will be loaded.

There are eight device types for the VisioSoft device Manufacturer
4-20mA Temperature Sensor
4-20mA Humidity Sensor
4-20mA Pressure Sensor
4-20mA Other
Pulse
Pressure
Level Sensor
Inclinometer

There is one device type for the SENSECOM device Manufacturer
Inclinometer

5. Enter the device data required for the specific device type selected.

6. Enter the Device Name and the Device ID accordingly.

7. Click "ADD DEVICE" once the button appears to save the device.

3. Select the Metering Farm, Metering Section & Service Point to assign the device to then click "NEXT".

• Metering Farm: e.g. Property Group created to by the Channel Partner
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage Metering Sections & Service Points within it.
• Metering Section: e.g. Complex created by the Channel Partner
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage Service Points
• Service Point: e.g. Unit created by either Channel Partner or Manager
(refer to SMARTVIEW GROUPING HIERARCHY) to manage devices assigned to it.

3. Select the Device Manufacturer
Device Manufacturer: The device manufacturer (VisioSoft or Kampstrup) to which the device belongs to
Upon selecting a Device Manufacturer, Device Types for the selected Device Manufacturer will be loaded.

There are two Device Types for the VisioSoft Device Manufacturer
Pulse
Landis+Gyrs ZMG E550

There are two Device Types for the Kampstrup Device Manufacturer
MULTICAL21-SIGFOX
MULTICAL21-MBUS

4. Enter the device data required for the specific device type selected then click "NEXT".

5. Enter the Device ID and the Device Name accordingly then click "NEXT".

6. Click "ADD DEVICE" to save the device.
