SMART UTILITIES GROUPING HIERARCHY

Metering Farm This is an entity instance (e.g. Your Company Name, or Utilities Manager Company Name.) that can be created by the Channel Partner. When this instance is created the Channel Partner assumes the Main Admin rights.

Metering SectionPlace, or company branch for which the user would like to create a Service-Points for.

Metering Point This is grouping point for meters on each Metering Section, e.g. Mains, Sub-Meters, Check-Meters, Common Area Meters, Waste Meters

Service-Point Point on which a meter is installed, e.g. Unit 01, Geyser

Channel Partner
This is an entity that has an agreement with Smart-View Technology as one of its resellers. The channel Partner can perform and has access to the following:
Create Metering Farms
Create Metering Sections
Create Service-Points
Update or Delete Metering Farms, Metering Sections, Service Points
Create Metering Section Admin Users (Permission Level 2 - Manager Accounts)
Link Service-Points to Metering Points
Add Devices to Service Points
Update or Delete Devices
Create Billing Tariffs
Create & View Billing Section Reports
View Billing Sections Recovery Report
View Billing Sections Dry Meters Reports
View Metering Farm Leak Report
Create & View Reports
View Device Data

Main Admin (Manager - Permission Level 2)
This user manages a specific Metering Section or multiple Metering Sections, e.g. Property Manager, Plumber, Maintainance Manager, Distributor, user has the following rights to perform:
Update Metering Sections
Create Service-Points
Update or Delete Service Points
Link Service-Points to Metering Points
Create Service-Point Admins (Permission Level 3 - Admin/Overseer Accounts) and read only users (Permission Level 4 - Read-Only Accounts)
Add Devices to Service Points
Update or Delete Devices
View Billing Section Reports
View Billing Sections Recovery Report
View Billing Sections Dry Meters Reports
View Metering Section Leak Report
Create & View Reports (Provided the Channel Partner has Recurring Billing Enabled, refer to Recurring Subscription Payments on how to enable Recurring Billing or user belongs to a Enterprice)
View Device Data

Service-Point Admin (Admin/Overseer - Permission Level 3)
This user manages a specific Service-Point or multiple service points, e.g. Landlord overseering 2 or more units, user has the following rights to perform:
Add Devices to Service Points
Update or Delete Devices
Update Service Points
View Device Data
View Reports (Report Overview of Devices Assigned to Linked Service Points)

Service-Point User (Read-Only User - Permission Level 4)
This user is assigned to a specific Service-Point, e.g. Tenant, user has the following rights to perform:
View Device Data
Link to only one Service Point
De-Link Service Point (Smart Utilities Mobile App Feature Only)
